Upon arrival at Aswan airport, railway station, or hotel, you will enjoy a seamless transfer with a meet and assist service. The day includes visits to the impressive Aswan High Dam and the enchanting Philae Temple, followed by a serene felucca ride on the Nile for a tranquil perspective of the area. You will conclude your day with lunch and dinner on board the cruise, spending the night in Aswan.

Day 2 - Kom-Ombo & Edfu Exploration
After breakfast on board, the cruise sets sail to Kom-Ombo to explore the unique temple dedicated to Sobek and Haeroris. Lunch will be served on board as you continue to Edfu, where you will visit the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. The afternoon includes tea on the sun deck and crossing the Esna lock, with dinner and a lively Galabiya party to round off the evening.

Today is the highlight of your journey.

Arrive in Luxor and prepare for one of the most extraordinary celestial events of your lifetime — the Total Solar Eclipse of August 2, 2027.

After breakfast, the Evaya Getaways team will coordinate your transfer to the designated eclipse viewing location.

Enjoy the gradual progression from the partial eclipse toward totality as the sky changes and daylight begins to fade.

At approximately 1:05 PM, Luxor will experience the total phase of the eclipse, with totality lasting approximately 6 minutes and 22 seconds.

After the eclipse experience, return with the Evaya team and continue your Luxor program according to the day's schedule.

Depending on timing, enjoy an evening visit to Luxor Temple or relax at your accommodation.

Continue to the Colossi of Memnon before concluding your Egyptian journey.

Your Evaya Getaways representative will then arrange your private transfer to Luxor Airport, railway station, hotel, or your next destination.
