   Welcome to Egypt.
   
   Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, your Evaya Getaways representative will meet you, assist with your luggage, and accompany you to your private transfer.
   
   Check in to your 5-star Cairo hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure after your international journey.
   
   In the evening, meet your Evaya representative for a welcome briefing and an overview of your upcoming Egyptian adventure.

   Day 2 The Pyramids of Giza — Sphinx, Memphis & Saqqara

   After breakfast, begin your journey with the most iconic symbols of Ancient Egypt.
   
   Explore the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the legendary Great Sphinx.
   
   Continue to ancient Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt, where you will see the monumental statue of Ramses II.
   
   Your journey continues to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser and one of Egypt's most important archaeological sites.
   
   Return to Cairo for a relaxing evening.

   Day 3 Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo & Overnight Journey to Luxor

   After breakfast, explore the treasures of ancient Egypt at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, home to an extraordinary collection of pharaonic artifacts.
   
   Continue to Coptic Cairo, discovering some of the city's historic churches and religious landmarks.
   
   In the afternoon, enjoy lunch before continuing your journey south toward Luxor.
   
   Depending on the final operational schedule, travel to Luxor by domestic flight or another coordinated transfer.
   
   Upon arrival, your Evaya representative will escort you to your Luxor accommodation.

   Day 4 LUXOR — Ancient Thebes & The Total Solar Eclipse

   Today is the defining moment of your Egyptian journey.
   
   After breakfast, explore the magnificent West Bank of Luxor, ancient Thebes.
   
   Visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, where generations of pharaohs were buried.
   
   Continue to the monumental Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
   
   After the morning exploration, return for lunch and prepare for the extraordinary celestial event taking place over Luxor.
   
   🌑 TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE — AUGUST 2, 2027
   
   Your Evaya Getaways team will coordinate your transportation to the designated eclipse viewing location.
   
   The partial eclipse in Luxor begins at approximately 11:40 AM.
   
   The Moon gradually covers the Sun until the moment of totality.
   
   Approximately 1:05 PM — TOTALITY
   
   For approximately 6 minutes and 22 seconds, Luxor experiences a total solar eclipse.
   
   The sky darkens in the middle of the day as the Moon completely covers the Sun.
   
   After totality, the partial phase continues until approximately 2:26 PM.

   Day 5 Luxor East Bank — Karnak, Luxor Temple & Nile Cruise

   After breakfast, discover the magnificent East Bank of Luxor.
   
   Visit the vast Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious complexes ever built in ancient Egypt.
   
   Continue to Luxor Temple, one of the city's most iconic monuments.
   
   After lunch, board your Nile cruise and settle into your cabin.
   
   As the cruise begins its journey south, relax on the sun deck and watch the landscapes of the Nile unfold around you.
   
   Enjoy dinner on board and spend your first night cruising the Nile.

   Day 6 Edfu & Kom Ombo — Sailing Through Ancient Egypt

   Wake up to the Nile and enjoy breakfast on board.
   
   Continue sailing south toward Edfu, where you will visit the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples of ancient Egypt.
   
   Return to the cruise and continue toward Kom Ombo.
   
   Explore the unusual double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, overlooking the Nile.
   
   Return to the ship and enjoy the evening while sailing toward Aswan.

   Day 7 Aswan — Philae Temple, High Dam & Nile Experience

8. Day 8 Aswan — Final Morning & Departure
