Our travel representative will pick you up by A/C vehicle from your hotel in Hurghada to accompany you on your visit to the West Bank, where you can see the Valley of the Kings, the great and majestic necropolis of the pharaohs. Explore the fascinating beliefs of the ancient Egyptians about the afterlife, where 63 tombs—royal and unroyal—were discovered. Then continue your visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first queen in history to send a diplomatic expedition to the land of Punt (Somalia). Hatshepsut was one of the few women who played an important role in ancient Egyptian history. After this, you will pass by the two Colossi of Memnon, famous for the sad voice that ancient locals claimed to hear, which was actually caused by air friction through tiny holes in the statues. Once restored, the sound disappeared. After finishing your tours on the West Bank, you will be transferred back to the East Bank to enjoy lunch in a quality local restaurant. After your meal, visit Karnak Temples, the largest religious structure the world has ever known, covering a massive area of about 60 acres. Karnak Temples are considered a history book stating Egypt's history from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic period, dedicated to the god Amun-Re, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu. After this interesting tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hurghada in safety and comfort.

Die Entscheidung hat sich gelohnt
Vorher war ich etwas unsicher. Im Nachhinein bin ich froh, dass wir uns dafür entschieden haben. Teilweise war mehr los als erwartet, dazwischen gab es aber auch angenehm ruhige Momente. Eine längere Pause zum Schluss hätte mir gefallen. Insgesamt war es trotzdem ein gelungener Ausflug.

Looking back through our photos, this is a day that keeps coming up in conversation. For me the best moments were the small details I would probably have missed on my own. Next time I would spend less time taking photos and more time simply enjoying being there.
