Our travel representative will pick you up by A/C vehicle from your hotel in Hurghada to accompany you on your visit to the West Bank, where you can see the Valley of the Kings, the great and majestic necropolis of the pharaohs. Explore the fascinating beliefs of the ancient Egyptians about the afterlife, with 63 royal and non-royal tombs discovered. Then, continue your visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first queen in history to send a diplomatic expedition to the land of Punt (Somalia). Hatshepsut was one of the few women to play an important role in ancient Egyptian history. After this, pass by the two Colossi of Memnon, where locals once claimed to hear a sad voice emanating from the statues, a result of air friction in the tiny holes within. After finishing your tours in the West Bank, you will be transferred back to the East Bank to enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant. After lunch, visit Karnak Temples, the largest religious structure in the world, covering about 60 acres. Karnak Temples serve as a historical record from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic period, dedicated to the god Amun-Re, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu. Eine angenehme Abwechslung
Es war unser erster Besuch in der Gegend und wir wollten die Planung möglichst einfach halten. Teilweise war mehr los als erwartet, dazwischen gab es aber auch angenehm ruhige Momente. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich weniger fotografieren und den Moment etwas bewusster genießen.
