Our Evaya Getaways professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by A/C vehicle to transfer you to Alexandria. First, visit Pompey’s Pillar, constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Then, take a drive to visit the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock. After a break for lunch, continue to see the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. We then journey to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a major cultural and library center. After this interesting visit, you will be driven back in comfort and safety to your hotel in Cairo.

A good change of pace
My partner picked this one. I was a little unsure beforehand, but ended up enjoying it. I appreciated being able to ask questions without feeling that I was holding everybody up. Worth bringing water and leaving the rest of the evening fairly open. We were ready to relax afterwards.
