Join us for a private half-day tour to explore the Temple of Hathor in Dendera. This impressive complex is surrounded by a mud brick enclosure wall. One of the highlights of the temple is the Dendera Zodiac, located on the ceiling, featuring the signs of Libra (the Balance) and Taurus (the Bull), among other fascinating details.

  1. Our Evaya Getaways Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel/Nile cruise to accompany you for your tour to Hathor Temple in Dendera. It was one of the principal cult centers of the goddess Hathor, the goddess of maternity, joy, music, and love. The Greeks identified goddess Hathor as Aphrodite. The temple is one of the latest discovered and features Egyptian gods and Roman emperors alongside in its decorations, as the temple was established during Roman times and dedicated to the wife of god Horus. You can also view the beautiful ceiling which depicts the Dendera Zodiac, including the signs of Libra the Balance and Taurus the Bull. After you have enjoyed this interesting visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel/Nile cruise in Luxor.

كنت أتمنى وقت أطول شوية

أنا عادة بحب أرتب خروجاتي بنفسي، بس المرة دي ارتحت إن الترتيب جاهز. أكتر حاجة عجبتني إن كان فيه فرصة نسأل ونتفرج من غير إحساس إننا بنجري. كنت أفضل استراحة أطول شوية في الآخر، لكن إجمالًا رجعنا مبسوطين.

Un buen recuerdo del viaje

A memorable outing

We had a fairly busy holiday and this was a welcome part of it. The practical arrangements were easy to follow, which made the day feel much less tiring. Worth bringing water and leaving the rest of the evening fairly open. We were ready to relax afterwards.
