Your Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to escort you for a historical visit to El Fayoum to see the famous Pyramids. Our first stop will be Hawara Pyramid, built by Amenemhat III and thought to be his final resting place. This site also features the Pyramid Tomb of his daughter Neferu-Ptah. Continue your journey back in history to the Meidum Pyramids, the second pyramid built after Djoser. Due to its unusual appearance, it is called el-heram-el-Kaddaab. After your visit, enjoy a late lunch before being transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

We had a fairly busy holiday and this was a welcome part of it. Some parts were busier than I expected, although there were still quieter moments to enjoy. Not every moment was perfect, but the overall experience was a good one and I am glad we went.

Wir wollten einen Tag anders verbringen als im Hotel. Das hat für uns gut funktioniert. Das Tempo ließ meistens genug Raum, sich umzusehen und nicht nur schnell ein Foto zu machen. Nicht jeder Moment war perfekt, aber der Gesamteindruck war gut und wir kamen zufrieden zurück.

Un bel ricordo della vacanza
Cercavamo qualcosa di diverso da un’altra giornata in albergo e questa proposta faceva al caso nostro. Ho apprezzato la possibilità di fare domande e soffermarmi anche sui dettagli più piccoli. Una sosta leggermente più lunga alla fine sarebbe stata gradita, ma il bilancio resta positivo.

Prima di prenotare ero un po’ indeciso. Alla fine la scelta ci ha lasciati soddisfatti. In alcuni momenti c’era più gente del previsto, ma non sono mancati gli attimi tranquilli. La prossima volta farei meno foto e mi godrei un po’ di più il momento.
